Vento Design: enhanced cooling uniformity and bubble stability
Thanks to the ring’s helix-shaped chamber and the single air inlet:
The air pressure near the bubble is homogeneuous.
The flow is more stable and less turbolent.

3 flows for a triple action: control, stability and cooling
1.Control: the air flow, controlled by servo motors, aims to adjust the film thickness.
2.Stability: the second flow creates a Venturi effect to maximize the bubble stability.
3.Cooling: the thrid flow is dedicated to film cooling.

Quick and accurate thickness corrections
The use of servo‑controlled valves ensures fast and precise variations of the localized airflow, significantly reducing the time required to execute thickness corrections.
The motors are equipped with encoders, in this way no periodic calibrations are needed.

Less heating and pressure required
The large volumes of the air‑ring chamber help minimize pressure drops and reduce air heating caused by friction.
The low‑friction airflow stabilizer evenly distributes the air directed toward the bubble.

Quick 2Sigma reduction during the start-up phase
At line start‑up, it is possible to increase the thickness measurements rate, reducing 2Sigma more quickly and consequently decreasing scrap and material waste.
Once the line reaches the preset speed, the sensor slows down for more precise measurements and fine corrections of the thickness.

Further increase productivity with the “double chimney” option
The double chimney enhances the cooling capacity of the airflow, allowing the extrusion line to run at high throughputs without affecting film quality.
Thanks to this option, the extruders’ operating speed can be increased even further.

Increased throughput without affecting quality thanks to the lifting system
The system is based on the principle that the larger the surface area exposed to the airflow, the more effective the cooling action will be.
By lifting the air ring, the device allows it to cool the bubble in a section where the surface area is greater.
By maximizing the cooling effect of the airflow, line output increases and the film’s technical properties improve.
